  • Cancellation and No-Show Policy

    At Yippys we understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. However, we kindly request that our customers respect our cancellation and no-show policy. This policy has been put in place to ensure fairness to all our clients and to protect the smooth operation of our business. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following guidelines:

    Cancellation Policy

    We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. This allows us to accommodate other clients who may be waiting for an available slot.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the team at least 24 hours in advance any later will result in a fee. You can reach us via phone on 48350644, and our friendly staff will be more than happy to assist you.

    No-Show Policy

    We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but no-shows can have a significant impact on our business and inconvenience other clients who may have been waiting for an appointment. Therefore, we kindly ask our customers to inform us promptly if they are unable to attend their scheduled appointment.
In the event of a no-show, we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to the full cost of the missed appointment to the credit card on file or invoice will be sent out. This policy ensures that clients who have made a commitment to visit our establishment are treated fairly and that our business can operate smoothly.

    Exceptions

    We recognise that emergencies and extreme situations may occur, and we will make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. If you have experienced an unforeseen circumstance that resulted in a missed appointment or late cancellation, please reach out to us as soon as possible, providing any necessary documentation or proof of the situation. We will evaluate your case and do our best to find an appropriate resolution.

    Conclusion

    You will receive reminders 48hr and 1hr reminders for your appointments with your details given, so we graciously allow a one time pass but any discretions followed with not showing up, contacting us, rescheduling last minute or arriving late will result in deposits and fees to rebook within our business.

  • Yippy’s allows a generous amount of time for style cuts wash and treatments with combining a number of our services for the best results and longevity of your hair. If unsure of what to book in for we offer a complimentary consultation in salon or via call, we love Inspo so if you have any hero images to work towards please bring with and organised before services.

  • Please always call us on 48250644 and we will get back to you, alternatively you can direct message us on socials but unfortunately when with our clients we are solely with them and won’t be able to respond unless we have time during business hours.

  • Tuesday to Friday, generally 9am - 7:30pm

    Saturdays are for events and weddings (by appointment)

    If we are there early or extra late, please note this is for our pleasure of getting loyal customers in.

    If our doors are shut, instagram will be our notice board if closed for extended periods eg, Christmas etc. if its a Saturday we will only be in if there is events or specific by appoints.

  • Yes please allow 2-3 weeks, we recommend rebooking with every appointment to avoid wait times. Otherwise, we advise booking a month in advance to secure your preferred stylist. We sometimes have last-minute cancellations so keep checking our instagram for availabilities. Alternatively, feel free to call us to see if we can fit you in.

  • At Yippy’s will always recommend salon professional products to protect and nourish your hair, especially after lightening. We have a large variety of premium products in salon and will prescribe what works best to achieve your desired look and feel, after all we are with you 48hr of the whole year the rest is all you.

  • We at Yippy’s will always provide a quote if asked, our prices are based on a starting from example, reason being your service might use more product then usual or service may take longer etc.

    Prices are set to cover the cost of products needed to perform services, other costs and our craft we have been extensively trained in.

    If our prices are not in your range please reframe from taking it out on our business, there will be no hard feelings if we are not suited to you.

    Prices expect to increase per year with inflation.

    As much as it is an honour to be part of guests tying the knot on a special day, Yippy’s does not take on bookings for weddings unless you are a pre-exisiting client.

    (all wedding booking require a 50% deposit to secure the date and are non refundable and will be taken off your total service price, unless discussed otherwise)

    Prices are subject to change with selection of service but a complimentary consultation is always given,

  • We pride our selves in you feeling at your best, consultation is always our number one thing, when both parties agree on what is achievable we perform a service, if asking for something completely different to your wants on original booking, sadly we do not offer a “change of mind” redo service. However, we want to ensure all our clients are 100% satisfied with their end results. To facilitate this we offer a four day adjustment policy. If you have any concerns with your service please contact us within four days from your original appointment to resolve any issues free of charge. Adjustments are only provided by the original hairstylist.

  • Yes we offer a variety of hair extension options depending on your hair type. We use Showpony hair extensions including sewn in wefts, tape extensions, and clip-ins.

    Consultations are required for any new clients looking to purchase extensions this way our stylist can explore options best suited to you, including a colour match.

    If transferring over with other extension brands we are not liable for damage or quality of extensions and longevity after application in applied.

    We also provide all types of services just ask if we don’t at the moment its always great feedback to eventually add to our service menu.

  • Yes, Want to tame frizzy, unruly hair? We use Cezanne’s Treatment, it smooths all hair types, including straight, wavy, textured and curly hair. Unlike other keratin smoothing treatments, ours is free of formaldehyde and harsh chemicals, requires no downtime and gives you endless styling options.

    When you book a Classic Keratin Smoothing Treatment, you’ll want to allow approximately two to three hours for the service and processing time. The stylist will treat, rinse and then blow-dry and flatiron your hair to lock in the look. Then you’re all set—our nontoxic blend of ingredients allows you to style your hair, rewash it or even exercise right away.

    How long does it last?

    The treatment lasts up to five months on all hair types. During this period, (best results always f=more noticeable in the first three before it starts to wear out) you’ll have smooth, frizz-free hair. Our treatments reduce blow dry time by up to 30%, and since they keep your hair healthy and strong, you won’t need to rely on extra styling products to get the look you want. Also, our treatments allow you to change your style without affecting the treatment. If you want to wear your natural curls one day and flatiron it the next, you can do that without risking losing the look you love from the treatment.

    In our professional opinion this is the best treatment and lifestyle for your hair- please note it is not anything like a chemical straighten and is designed to help you manage your hair with styling and blowdrying as it wears in it also wears out
